First and Only
Hit Exchange Report

Our work started back in 2002 with the very first and only Hit Exchange Report. Armed with a degree in mathematics and statistics, we sought to answer the relevant question regarding Hit Exchanges, "Are they delivering as promised?" This popular report is produced weekly and on average collects and analyzes 1,000,000 hits.

Hit Exchange Report Develops and Evolves

February 26, 2008

[quote from this week’s Hit Exchange Report]

New features for the Hit Exchange Report

The Hit Exchange Report develops and evolves to serve the
advertising concerns of the online business community. New
statistical software and analysis applications are made available
on a regular basis. Independent resources are used to monitor the
hit exchanges. No one component is all-important in and of itself.
We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when
determining our Top 20 each week.

How effective is YOUR advertising? What are your actual results? To
help you with these all-important questions, we are introducing new
components to our overall analysis when determining the most
effective hit exchanges. Please refer to the Data page in this
report for specific information on individual hit exchanges.

New! Raw Tracking Analysis represents hits to special tracking used
to judge action or non-action on the part of visitors. Some hit
exchanges have more responsive visitors than others.

New! Special Tracking Results shows the percentage of visitors that
completed the action for each specific hit exchange. This is known
as the rate of conversion.

New! The Bounce Rate indicates what percentage of visitors looked
at the site (such as in surfing) and then immediately left the site.
